Hello, friend!

Welcome to my blog. I have posted some photos of my life to share with you. It's a simple little life, but I'm a simple little girl. Please enjoy, and feel free to leave comments

Meet my new friend, Helen!!

Last night Helen and I were formally introduced. Isn't she pretty?! She's part Shar Pei, part Rhodesian Ridgeback. Very pretty girl!

Her dad and my mom were WAY too nervous about this meeting! They were SWEATING bullets, both of them!! And man, did they have a grip on her leash!! Helen was very sweet, and oh so excited to meet me. She was TREMBLING with excitement. I, of course, was a bit more reserved (snotty girl that I am. Well, that, and I don't want to get eaten!). My curiosity got the better of me, though, and I couldn't help but come out to meet her a few times. In all we spent almost two hours together (a lot of it with me running into my room and Helen crying for me to come out and play). We all think it was a big success. Helen is a lovely girl, as you can see by her picture. She's big, though! 66 lbs, which makes her roughly 33 times my size!! Wow, no wonder the grownups were nervous.

Here's how it went:

First Contact

Peeking around the corner at Ms. Helen

Inching forward...
can't resist...
what IS that
big creature out there???

I'm coming out!

Come closer!!! I want to see you!

That's more like it!

A little closer...
Closer......................

No, don't leave!

It was just getting fun!

Helen got sad when I left the room.

So eventually I came back out. Helen couldn't take her eyes off me. I retreated to the safety of my penthouse.

Helen got kind of excited and wanted me to play.
I was having none of it.
Just gonna stay over here with my toy bunny.

I couldn't stay away for long, though. She was so interesting!

So very, very interesting...

And she made the carpet smell interesting, too!

Eventually we decided our introduction had been very successful, but that we should not overdo it. We'll do it again soon! I might even get closer....

Monday, September 10

I'm back at my blog after a long time. Thinking hard about what I should say. Hmmm...give me a minute.

I got a new Cottontail Cottage of my very own! I'm still waiting for decent carpeting. Until then I have to make do with this torn up towel. Trailer Trash! But it's comfy and keeps me off the cold floor. Brrr...I like to be warm and comfy at all times.

Here I am in the penthouse. That blue towel really shows off my silver hair, don't ya think? and check out the little ramp that helps me get in through the back second story window. Life is good.

Sometimes I let my stuffed bunny friend hang out with me in the penthouse suite. Here I'm giving him a little kiss. (I keep forgetting he's not real...)
In fact, I heart him so much, I'm going to give him another smooch!

I can also enjoy a treat, such as this lovely romaine lettuce, when I'm lounging downstairs. (This picture was taken the day I got my new home and before it was relocated and carpeted with the pretty blue towel. (Did I mention that I'm waiting for carpeting?!) ;>

I have a great view through the second story window. As you can tell by my expression, though, I don't like being disturbed when I'm grooming myself. You go now!
My home from another angle. Damn, I hate the red eye!

I need a snack.
Hmmm...somebody accidentally left a tin of raisins on the floor...

The lid is off.

I'm goin in!!

Um, I may have some tummy trouble if I eat all of these! Sure are TASTY, though! And ADDICTIVE.
Like crack.
But not whack.

Better balance out that diet with some greens!

Cuz when it's hot I do enjoy a bit of popsicle...this is grape, my favorite!!
It takes a long time to eat a popsicle...don't you think the red sets off my silver well, too? And check out my itty-bitty mouth and my teeny-tiny feetsies.

One more thing...

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful.

Stay tuned...

Later this week I will meet my first dog!!!
There will be pictures...if I survive it. ;>

And another exciting bit of news!!

My friend Angela is knitting me my very own sweater! I'll be modeling it once I get it. It'll be soooo comfy and warm when the weather cools!
